Sprouts as you all know are a very healthy way of eating pulses. Instead of doing the regular masoor tondak, similar to
chana tondak, I decided to try something different. I had put masoor dal to soak in water. That time an idea occurred to me to get them sprouted. And I tried something new in my kitchen. Check the dish below.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup sprouted masoor dal / red lentil
2 small onion's
1 tomato
1 boiled potato
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp chili powder
2 tablespoon grated coconut
Procedure:
In a pan, fry the onions till they become pinkish.
Add tomatoes and fry till it becomes mushy.
Add the ginger-garlic paste and saute.
Now add the powders and mix properly.
Peel and cut the boiled potato into 1 inch cubes.
Add the potatoes and sprouts and mix well.
Add the grated coconut and again mix it.
Add 1/4 cup water.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
