Grilled Prawns in Coriander Sauce

The weekends here in Bangalore are extremely boring. I do nothing in the weekend apart from daily household chores, buying grocery and doing some office work. Nowadays we even started buying the weekly grocery on weekdays. It really gets very boring to repeat the same grocery shopping every week.

The only activity I love doing in the weekends is to experiment with food. I just felt one day that I should try to experiment with non-veg cooking too. I tried this grilled prawns recipe and it just turned awesome. I even innovated a name for it. Do try it out when you have some prawns at home.

Ingredients:
5 - 8 prawns
1 Egg white
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp red chili powder

For Sauce:
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
1 green chili
1 tsp pepper powder
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
A pinch of salt

Serving Size : 2

Procedure:
Clean and de-shell the prawns.
Marinate for 30 Min's by applying turmeric powder, chilly powder and 2 pinches of salt.

For the sauce, grind together coriander leaves and green chilly. Add to it ginger-garlic paste and pepper powder. Add a pinch of salt. To this add egg white and make a paste.

Add the prawns to this sauce and let them again marinate in this sauce for 15 Min's. Prick a toothpick in the prawn.

Keep the high rack in the microwave and pre-heat in grill mode for 2 Min's at 180C.

After pre-heating, arrange the marinated prawns on the rack and grill for 10 Min's. Then turn them to the other side and again grill them for another 10 Min's.
