Fish Roast

I had lot of fish particularly king fish lying in my fridge. The fish had to be over within a day as there would have been a pooja happening at my home after 2 months. I had to do the clensing. I got tensed and did not know what to do with so much fish. Thought of trying something different. Googled and came across a recipe. Thought of giving it a try. I modified the recipe slightly as per my taste. I love adding pepper powder in my food. I love the peppery taste. Just not taste, it has a number of health benefits too. The recipe turned out delicious. My hubby and everyone in my family loved it and said that it was the best way to finish off all the fish in time.

2 large tomato
1/2 capsicum
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder

Marinate the fish with the ingredients meant for marination. Keep aside atleast for 30 min's.
Chop the onions and tomatoes into small pieces. Cut the capsicum length-wise.
Heat 1/4 cup oil in a large kadai.

Fry the marinated fish for sometime time the fish gets slightly cooked.
In the same oil, add ginger-garlic paste and saute for 2 mins.
Add onions and saute with little salt till golden color.
Add chilly powder and turmeric powder and cook for 1 min. Add pepper powder and mix.
Add tomatoes and green chilly and curry leaves & cook till tomatoes gets mashy.
Add capsicum and fry till capsicum gets cooked.

Cook for atleast 15-20 mins on low flame.

Note:
The spice level can be adjusted by increasing/decreasing the chilly and pepper powder's.
