1 tsp. chilli powder
1 tsp. turmeric powder
¼ tsp. salt
½ tsp. chili powder
¼ tsp. salt
Procedure:
Step 1:
Mix rava, rice flour, chilly powder and salt and keep aside.
Step 2:
Cut the ladyfingers horizontally into 2 pieces after chopping off the head/stem. If the ladyfingers are too big in length, cut them into 2 pieces first horizontally then cut vertically so that you get four pieces.
Apply chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt to the ladyfingers and keep aside for 10-15 mins. You can even apply garam masala. this is optional and it does add extra taste to this delicious dish.
Step 3:
Coat the ladyfingers in rava.
Step 4:
Now take the frying pan, heat it and spread 1 tbsp. oil on it.
Step 5:
Arrange the rava coated ladyfingers on the frying pan one by one.
Step 6:
Spread 1-2 tablespoon oil on top of the rava coated ladyfingers. Fry by covering the frying pan.
Step 7:
After 10 mins, flip to the other side and fry for another 10 mins.
Step 8:
Check whether the ladyfingers are cooked. When they turn crispy, it is time to switch off the gas/heat.
