My Cooking Story

I am born and brought up in a cool place called Goa. Being a software engineer by profession I feel that we should have time for our self and our hobbies apart from our busy office life. My hobbies include painting, hand embroidery, mehndi art, dancing, reading, cooking, etc.

Cooking is my favorite hobby and all the credit goes to my hubby Maruti. He is the person who always encouraged me to cook better. Sometimes my dish used to get spoiled due to excess salt or excess spice or due to over-cooking. He never criticizes me and honestly points out what's gone bad and he gets very happy when something is cooked good. Once he said to me "You are the best cook in my life :)".

Another person who encouraged me is my mother. She is the best cook in my life. She has won lots of awards for her delicious food. She criticizes me a lot and this also helps me to bring out the best in me. She is a perfectionist and 1/2 tsp means 1/2 tsp and not even a little more.
So I started with learning from my mom and experimenting on my hubby :) Both have been successful. I hope one fine day I will reach a level equal to my mother.

Thought of sharing all those recipes with the little secrets with you all.

Please note that your are free to try and publish the recipes given in my blog as long as due credit is given to my blog. All the photos are copywrited and should not be used.

Hope you have a wonderful time with my food blog.

Happy cooking!
