Any special occassion such as birthday parties, promotion parties,bachelor party,engagement party, wedding reception, etc. requires a perfect venue. We had hosted a grand party for my little's one's first birthday. Before that it was always my parents who took the liberty of choosing a venue for the parties as they would do all the funding. They would typically choose a big hall to accomodate the guests. The catering orders would be given to another party and we would sit back pack and get all the return gifts from home.
During my little one's first birthday party, my hubby and me decided to do something different. We decided to outsource the entire event. Right from choosing the venue, to catering, to entertainment and return gifts, everything was outsourced.
Ballara is one such site where one can outsource their events and have great parties.
The party was held in a very nice hall which was enough to accomodate 500+ people. The food and beverages were served outside in the open air.They took care of the menu and since some of my guests were fasting and some were vegetarians, the menu was designed to suit according to their individual dietary requirements. They even arranged parking for the guests vehicles. Everything was very well organised.
The games and events for kids was organised in the hall. The function coordinator took care of all the return gifts and the prizes for the various games. We only gave them the list of invitees and the addresses. They even posted the invitation cards.
We had told them that we want a barbie doll theme for our little one's special day. Everything was decorated in baby pink and white. The cake was itself a huge barbie doll which my little one just adored. The hall was filled with huge barbie dolls which were carved out from thermocol.
Not just this, even the photography and video recording was arranged by them. The event was very well organised. All my guests were extremely happy. In the end they all thanked us for the lovely evening and awesome food.
The price of the entire event was not much. It was quiet competitive and most importantly we were stress free. So friends always plan to outsource your parties and be tension free. Otherwise in such parties the host/hostess would be busy running around. But in our case we were very cool. We attended to all our guests and had a wonderful time.
