Black Dog 21 Year Old And Black Dog TGR

 Today I will tell you a little bit on another 2 variants of Black Dog Scotch. Those are Black Dog Quintessence 21 years old and Black Dog Triple Gold Reserve. 

Tasting Notes:

 Color – intense amber gold with shimmering highlights

Nose – a harmony of delight orchestrated by a multitude of seductive aromas immediately arouse the senses. Soft peaches and ripe citrus fruits coupled with pear, marzipan and bergamot begin this flirtatious fanfare. The aged malt whiskies from the Speyside valley make their own inimitable contribution by adding that distinctive charm and finesse. Velvet and smooth. The hand of time in the finest sherry wood has weaved its magic spell to perfection.

Taste – bold and magnificent. This outstanding blend must be given the reverence and respect it richly deserves. For twenty one years these aged single malts and grain whiskies have remained dormant in the cold dark warehouses before they were finally blended together by our master Blender. Therefore the spirit must be held long on the palate for at least twenty one seconds to awaken its many hidden attributes. Like a rare masterpiece it will reveal its inner beauty. It’s inner world. Intense flavors of Seville oranges, ripe sweet mangoes and ginger spice reward the palate, then whispers of bitter chocolate, liquorice and crushed almonds drift lovingly on.


Black Dog TGR

Black Dog Triple Gold Reserve, as the name itself suggests, is the only blended Scotch that is produced involving a triple maturation process. The triple maturation process which involves Grain whiskies and Malt whiskies separately matured in American Bourbon Casks and then blended together and matured again in Oloroso Sherry Butts for an extra longer period of time to give the blend a distinctive flavor and a delicate finish. As per the consumer research conducted on the blend of TGR, it has been appreciated and accepted as a parallel to any 12 Y.O blended scotch

Black Dog TGR is Triple Matured. Truly refined! Black Dog Triple Gold Reserve, is the only blended Scotch that is produced involving a triple maturation process. The blend has a delicate finish and is accepted at parallel with any 12 Y.O blend.
