The Food Bloggers Meet 2014 concluded and it was a grand success. During the meet, all the participants got to take home truck loads of goodies. There were numerous goodie bags and one goodie bag came from Soulfull. The participants got different products. I got Instant Adaii Dosa Mix and Choco Fills. The Choco fills were delicious and my little one finished it even before I could have a look at it. But I felt good as she unknowingly consumed Ragi which is very very healthy.
I tried the Instant Adai Dosa Mix. Adai means a combination of various dals(pulses). I can't imagine I never tried Adai Dosa inspite of being in South India for 10 years. Thanks to Soulfull's gluten free Adai Dosa Mix. I followed the instructions on the packet and crispy dosas were ready in no time. We enjoyed these nutritious dosas. They tasted more like the "chutney podi" that we get in South India. Though it is mentioned on the packet to serve the dosas with jaggery or white butter, I preferred it having plain.
I would say that these Soulfull products are a great help for busy working women. They provide us with healthy breakfast even during the morning rush hours. I am so much impressed with these products that I am going to order some now. There are lots of stores which sell these products. Ingredients: Serves: 4-5
1 packet Soulfull Adai Dosa Mix
Ghee/oil as needed
Procedure:
Follow the instructions given at the end of the packet.
For the batter, mix 1 cup dosa mix to 1 1/4 cup of water and keep it aside for 5 mins.
Heat the tawa, spread 1 tsp ghee/oil and spread 1 scoop of batter.
Cook for 2 mins and flip to other side and roast for another 1 min.
Flip back again for another 30 mins. They keep salt levels low, so you can add salt as per your taste.
Your Adai dosa is ready. Serve it with jaggery or white butter or chutney powder.
I liked it plain without any chutney.
