Ever since I received my new smartphone, I have received a new companion for my everyday food photography and food events. My new Asus Zenfone 5 is not just a smartphone but it is a great gadget for clicking photographs and since it is beautifully crafted it looks really sleek and elegant. This ergonomically crafted smartphone is designed to make one win at any occasion. Since it has a tougher than ever corning gorilla glass, I need not worry about handling it delicately. I just keep it in my hand-bag and I need not worry about it’s screen getting scratches due to stuff in my hand-bag. This weekend I took my new Asus Zenfone 5 for restaurant reviews. I loved clicking a panoramic view of BBC at JW Marriott. This was almost impossible using my DSLR which has just a few basic features. So this ZenFone was a winner in this situation and it also gave me a great capture of images.

Apart from that, I used depth of field and HDR(High Dynamic Range) imaging modes to click some food images around the restaurant.

With a DSLR, clicking awesome images will take some time as you might need to attend special classes just to learn to use all the features of DSLR. But on the contrary, you need not attend any special classes to use the ZenFone camera. Just select your preferred mode and shoot or simply use the auto mode.

This camera now keeps roaming around with me and I love to capture moments with it. The below picture was clicked during an afternoon walk with my lunch gang in office. Every afternoon we go for a walk post lunch and discuss some girly stuff. Most of the times I will be busy clicking pictures of stuff I love and my gang of girls loves me for this. Below picture of flowers was just randomly clicked using depth of field mode. I just love to see how beautifully it has blurred some flowers and focused only on a particular flower.
