Ingredients :
20 bhendi
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp aamchur powder/chat masala
1 tsp black pepper powder
1 tsp tandoori masala / any spicy masala / chicken 65 masala
1/2 tsp salt/ as per taste
2 tablespoon gram flour / besan
Oil for deep frying
Procedure:
Wash the bhendi and pat dry.
Slice them into 1 cm pieces.
Mix all the masalas and apply to the bhendi.
Add gram flour and to the bhendi and mix well
Add salt to taste and leave it aside for 15-20 Min's.
After 20 Min's, deep fry the bhendi which is coated with gram flour in 4-5 batches.
Drain them on paper towel to remove the excess oil.
You can use cornflour instead of gram flour for coating the chopped lady fingers.
Do not leave the coated bhendi in oil for too long. Since they are 1 cm slices, they will cook fast. Just when they turn golden brown on either sides, take them out of oil and drain on the kitchen towel.
